NCHE Student Leadership Committee
Committee Responsibilities
The NCHE Student Leadership Committee is a composition of early careerists consisting of representatives from multiple CAHME accredited Universities in the D.C. Metropolitan area. This team works together to foster personal, academic and professional growth opportunities for future health care leaders through networking with alumni and pioneers in the field.
Committee Member Responsibilities
- Speaker Series: Identify a speaker series topic and recruit healthcare experts along with coordinating a designated time to speak to NCHE students
- Network/Engagement Events: Plan and facilitate student NCHE events
- Student Spotlight: Maintain a repository of NCHE students from various universities to highlight their goals and achievements
- Alumni Spotlight: Recruit and organize an informative interview with an FACHE member and highlight their contributions and career achievements
- Networking opportunities: Plan and attend networking events to facilitate professional growth
Meeting Requirements
- Must be able to attend twice a month general body meetings
- Must be able to dedicate at least 2 hours a week to create and develop inclusive events
- Must be able to dedicate a sufficient number of hours to different tasks at hand
Eligibility Criteria
- NCHE student member in academic good standing
- Actively enrolled MHA or HCM student
- Communication, creativity, organizational, and technology skills
